Natural Beauty: Homemade Facial Recipe

Today I'm gonna show you how to make your own scrub and mask from what you have at kitchen, which are natural ingredients.

I'm suffering more break out because yeah...omagah, I think I should give up on History of Whoo because it breaks me out. My skin is getting worse with more pimples and acne, and terrible looking indeed. Not only the bad looking, but also the feeling of stiff where the acne settle down. However, to balance out the trouble skin, I like to make DIY mask and scrub since it's natural so it's safe investment for skin.

Here we go the essential ingredients that I like to use to make homemade facial.

Honey contains numerous anti-microbial properties and is a natural antioxidant. Honey fights microbial infections that cause acne without irritating your skin. This sweet goodness literally pulls out impurities from your pores that would normally stay clogged with festering bacteria and oil that cause pimples.  Honey will also help restore your skin’s texture and reduce damage done to your skin by the sun and daily environments you come in contact with. Honey will not clog your pores or make you break out further, as long as you are not allergic to it. It is an amazing way to fight acne and nourish your skin at the same time.

Green tea is beneficial to your health for a number of reasons. It is also known to cure acne due to its antibacterial properties. It has been proven to fight Staph infections, which include pimple causing bacteria. Green tea is loaded with antioxidants, especially the antioxidant named Epigallocatechin Gallate which happens to be 200 times more powerful than Vitamin E! This antioxidant fights against free radicals in your body that harm your cells and gentle tissues. In addition, it stabilizes your hormone balance which controls your acne and heals inflammation and redness on your skin.

Green tea is added to many skincare products due to all the benefits listed above and is so gentle on the skin yet powerfully can kill acne. Below are other benefits and known facts about green tea for treating acne:
1. The leaves of the green tea plant, Camellia sinensis, carries a powerful and natural astringent within it that is known to diminish acne and the bacteria that causes it. Grind up some of the leaves and mix in with your gentle cleanser. Use as an exfoliating cleanser and reap the benefits of this at-home treatment!
2. In studies, when 4 % benzoyl peroxide cream was compared to 3 % green tea cream on people’s skin with acne, it was found that people who used the green tea cream experienced less dryness and irritation on their skin, had less allergic reactions, and had an overall better reaction to the cream than that of those who used benzoyl peroxide.
3. Green tea also has an abundant amount of Vitamin B and Vitamin C in it. Vitamin B, and Vitamin B12 even more specifically, is found to be essential for skin regeneration. Vitamin C helps produce collagen, which makes the skin more firm and allows the skin to repair itself more effectively.
4. Green tea helps repair skin damaged by the sun, including skin hurt by skin cancer. Studies suggest that drinking 2 cups of green tea a day can help you fight ever getting skin cancer in your life. Though it is important to note that you cannot be in the sun all day long or visit a tanning salon regularly and think that 2 cups of green tea will make up for it. You must be wise and protect your skin from the damaging UV rays when you are able to.

Who knew that green tea could be so beneficial to your skin health in addition to being so delicious? Stock up on green tea and if your body reacts negatively to caffeine, opt for decaffeinated. Feel free to add some honey which is also loaded with many wonderful antioxidants and also can be applied directly to the skin as well, fighting bacteria and not clogging your pores! Papaya is a good source of Vitamin A and papain. Vitamin A acts as an anti-oxidant, while the papain breaks down inactive proteins and removes dead skin cells. The best feature of the fruit is its low sodium quality. Since the salt content is less, the water retention is also little. The result is an overall hydrated skin.

Apples contain a high level of glycolic acid and when combined with the granules of the apple that you have blended, creates an awesome exfoliant for the skin! It helps minimize scarring from acne, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and removes cellular build-up from the skin, stopping oils and bacteria from getting trapped under the skin’s surface.

Salicylic acid is packed in strawberries as well and is known to minimize acne and cellular build-up so fresh, renewed skin can surface. Strawberries also contain many antioxidants that help fight free radicals that attack your skin, making you appear more youthful and giving you a beautiful glow to your skin. Strawberries also help lighten the skin so feel free to apply the mask under your eye area to lighten dark circles as well!

Avocados are beneficial to your skin in addition to your overall health. Avocados heal dry skin, reduce age spots, minimize fine lines and wrinkles, and can even soothe skin affected by eczema or other skin conditions. A large quantity of the protein, sterolin, is found in avocado and this specific nutrient is what treats so many skin issues just listed. Sterolin is found in mass quantities in the oil of the avocado which is why this oil is added to so many skincare products. An added bonus – Avocados do not clog your pores and will not make you break out further.

1. Cinnamon can help clean and disinfect an open wound. Clean the cut then dust a little cinnamon over the wound and voila! The bacteria will start to be killed and you will be on your way to healing quickly.
2. Cinnamon works to kill acne by drying out the affected area and bringing blood and oxygen to the surface to open the pores and de-clog bacteria and oil. Use in a homemade face mask with honey and nutmeg and see how beautifully your skin clears up!

Time to make homamade facials. Here are the recipes that I like to make.

  1. Raw papaya.
  2. Cinnamon powder + honey
  3. Strawberry + honey
  4. Banana + honey
  5. Apple + honey
Avocado + green tea leaves

  1. Green tea water + sugar + honey
  2. A slice of tomato dipped in sugar
Very simple, rite? ^^

I personally like to use honey because RAW ORGANIC HONEY is the best natural remedy for skin problems like trouble skin, acne prone skin, and sensitive skin. Simply apply raw honey all over your face and it heals all scars and many unwanted trouble on skin. Believe me, it works. What you need is PERSISTENCE since all natural remedies work very gently.

I think best to use natural ingredients like fruits, honey, or anything else instead of creams that come from your trusted doctor which might contain harmful chemical agents.

That's the recipes and the benefits of the ingredients, hope it helps. Bye... ^^
